Green-tec Open Days |

Green-tec A/S carried out their annual dealer Open Days during June and welcomed
a record number of guests.
Dealers from some 22 countries across Europe were present to witness the latest
innovations from Spearhead and to be updated on developments following the previous
12 months trading.
John Christensen, CEO of Green-tec A/S presented the event, with support from Christian
Davies, General Manager of Spearhead Machinery and Antony Prince, Export Sales Manager
at Spearhead Machinery. Numerous other members of the Green-tec A/S team also led
individual presentations throughout the day covering, Service, Parts, Sales and
Marketing.
The event began with a social evening, boat trip and informal lunch where dealers
could discuss events and current affairs prior to the more formal presentations
of the following day.
During the presentations the Spearhead dealer network were treated to the launch
of a host of new products. The main focus was on the new TWIGA range of reach arm
mowers, currently available in 5 models ranging from 5.6 metre reach through to
7 metre reach.
This new range was presented in the form of a product overview and slideshow which
was then followed up by a walk around of a real machine and a live demonstration
of the 6.5 metre TWIGA 650T model.
During the day the dealers also discussed the launch of the STARCUT machines at
the end of 2009 and the modifications and development that this range had seen during
the first part of 2010. One more notable consideration was the change from BONDIOLI
& PAVESI to WALTERSCHEID components on this range. This was well received by
all present.
Also presented were sneak previews of further new products that are coming at the
end of 2010 and into 2011 from Spearhead. Christian Davies, General Manager at Spearhead
Machinery was grateful of the chance to get everyone together at Green-tec A/S modern facility.

is invaluable for us to have the opportunity to promote new products but at the
same time listen to the feedback from our customers. Only by working together with

who use our machines on a daily basis. This event gives a great opportunity to bring
everyone together for this purpose.’
