Spearhead, Ellis Agreement |

Spearhead Machinery Ltd has taken its first steps in the North American market
place by signing an official
distribution agreement with Logan, UTAH based wholesale
distributor Ellis Equipment.
Ellis Equipment will initially provide distribution, sales and customer service support for Spearhead Machinery across Western and Northern USA. The partnership
will provide Spearhead Machinery with its first foray into the North American market,
one where the wide area Folding Rotary Mowers manufactured by the company are well
suited.
Antony Prince, Spearhead Export Sales Manager said; ‘the tie up with Ellis Equipment
is very exciting for Spearhead Machinery. We have already realised a number of sales of our larger Folding Rotary Cutters and will also be looking to develop other product
lines as the brand becomes more established.’
Clair Ellis, Manager and Owner of Ellis Equipment was also delighted with the partnership.
‘Spearhead is a well recognised brand within Europe and through our activities here in the US the brand can help us develop into markets where we have never been able
to offer a suitable product in the past. In terms of Vegetation Management machinery
Spearhead offers us the full portfolio with many features
that are way ahead of
anything else currently out there in the American market place.’
Spearhead Machinery currently offers Rotary Mowers in working widths from 5 feet
to 40 feet cutting widths with a complete range of Boom Mowers ranging from 12 feet
to 27 feet sideways reach and a range of Flail Mowers ranging from 5 feet to 16
feet cutting width.
Spearhead are now looking to extend their coverage in the USA and are seeking further
distributors for their products.
