Custom flailhead
The Orbital flailhead is designed specifically for high output. The in-board motor
and belt drive system minimises the "dead length" from the outside of the head to
the first flail and facilitates cutting close to obstructions.

Ease of maintenance
The needs of the service engineer have been given priority at the Orbital desgin
stage. The telescopic arm slides on special nylon wear pads with simple external
screw adjustment for timly and easy adjustment. |
Oil cooler
A themostatically controlled full flow oil cooler ensures the hydraulic
fluid remains at it's most efficent temperature.

Piston power
High capacity mowing is made easy with the Spearhead 84hp piston pump and
motor drive system. Automatic pressure modulation in the drive circuit eliminates
pressure peaks on start up and shut down, increasing the life of the hydralic system. |
High speed transort
High- speed transport is a key requirement with the Orbital range. Hydraulic
slew puts the reach arm directly behind the tractor within the 2.6m transport width.

Hydraulic under carriage
The optional hydraulic under carriage reduces the weight of the tractor/
mower combination by 2.5 tons to bring 100bhp tractors within the manufactures gross
vehicle weight limit.
