Overview
Spearhead’s groundbreaking technology knows no bounds when it comes to delivering
the highest performance rotary mowing technology available on the market today.
Targeted at the largest arable and aviation support markets in the world, the same
levels of engineering and manufacturing expertise are applied to produce the STARCUT
910.
Incorporating all of the high specification design features seen on the smaller
STARCUT 500 and STARCUT 730 machines, the STARCUT 910 gives extra capacity for increasing
mulching output.

Design
|
The STARCUT Rotary Mulcher series has been designed to form the stylish characteristic
delta shape. This serves a practical purpose in the collection and distribution
of mulched vegetation creating a far more even spread. A totally new streamlined
exterior also speeds up the cleaning down of the machine post operation. Additional
design features include integrated hose routing; unique monocoque deck structure
and clean input for free material flow. Another key development is the ability to
attach additional implements to the rear of the machine.

Blade Options
|
Six-blade configuration
The HD6 rotor is the preferred rotor for the operator who is working in rough and
testing conditions such as those found in wet maize and corn fields or military
training areas. Providing a fine mulch finish and increased cutting power in dense
material the lower blade is angled slightly to provide the same close contact as
the MP6 system. Based on the award winning MULTISTAR system found on Spearhead’s
MULTICUT Range the HD6 is a development aimed specifically at extreme stubble mulching.
• Anti-Scalping Blade pan Protection
• Heavy Duty Boron Steel Blades
• 6 Long Blades for increased cutting power
• 2 cutting planes for double cut
• Updraft Blades lift material into the cutting zone

Six-blade Configuration
The MP6 rotor is the first choice for the most efficient and economical output in
crop stubble situations. Angled, fully rotational swinging lower blades mean that
efficiency is increased allowing a faster forward speed with a lower power requirement.
A further three blades are mounted in a higher, straight plane to ensure vegetation
is finely mulched, aiding crop spread and fast decomposition.
• Anti-Scalping Blade Pan Protection
• 2 cutting planes for a double cut
• Heavy Duty Long Life Blades
• 6 blades per rotor for enhanced mulching
• Updraft Blades lift material into the cutting zone
• Low inertia blade for soft start up
